We are delighted to be performing our new project MY HEART CANNOT DIE, which brings together old and new music, at next year’s Klarafestival alongside all these other wonderful artists.
My Heart Cannot Die is a collaborative project from BL!NDMAN with the fantastic musicians of Zwerm.
We reflect on the romantic myth surrounding the Renaissance composer Carlo Gesualdo (1566-1613) and let him enter into a dialogue with female countervoices from his time: Maddalena Casulana (1544–1590) and Vittoria Aleotti (1575–1620).
Expect a many-voiced, modern-day response to the flexible madrigal repertoire, placing instrumental arrangements in dialogue with musical noise and critical text projections.
